The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced the locations for its four major shows in 2027, including a new event in Bristol and the return of a long-standing favorite. The lineup will feature the established RHS Malvern Spring Festival in Worcestershire and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, alongside two additional events.

The highlight is the debut of an RHS show in Bristol, set for July 8–11, 2027, at the city’s Prospect Building. The venue will host a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces transformed into botanical displays, including pop-up plant installations, expert-led talks, and interactive workshops. The event aims to bring gardening inspiration to urban audiences, whether they tend city gardens or windowsill plants.

Also returning in 2027 is the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park in Cheshire, after a three-year hiatus. Scheduled for July 21–25, 2027, the show will feature show gardens, floral exhibits, and talks while spotlighting young designers through the Young Designer Gardens program. The event supports the North West’s horticultural community and aligns with the RHS’s broader goal of expanding accessibility to gardening.

These additions reflect the RHS’s touring show system, introduced in 2024, which rotates events across new venues—including Wentworth Woodhouse (2025), Badminton Estate (2026), and Sandringham Estate (2026). The strategy aims to reach broader audiences while collaborating with regional partners.

The Bristol event, in particular, targets urban gardeners, while Tatton Park celebrates regional horticultural traditions. Both shows join the established Malvern and Chelsea events as part of the organization’s expanded calendar.

  • RHS Malvern Spring Festival: May 6–9, Worcestershire
  • RHS Chelsea Flower Show: May 18–22, London
  • New RHS event in Bristol: July 8–11
  • RHS Flower Show Tatton Park: July 21–25, Cheshire

For urban residents with limited garden space, the Bristol show’s focus on small-scale gardening could bridge the gap between aspiration and practice. While the RHS’s touring model broadens participation, the return of Tatton Park signals a commitment to regional pride in horticulture, both trends likely to draw diverse crowds next year.
