B&M has opened a new store in Acton, located in a former Poundland unit. The store held a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event to mark the occasion, featuring a live DJ, free face painting, and a “Spin to Win” game with prizes from big brands.
The B&M Acton Store Manager said, “We’re really excited to be opening our brand-new Acton store and can’t wait to welcome customers through the doors for the first time.” The team has been working hard to get everything ready, and they’re looking forward to becoming part of the local community.
The new store brings big-name brands, exciting ranges, and fantastic value to the local community, while providing a welcome boost to the local economy with the creation of 50 new jobs. The unit underwent a refurbishment ahead of the official opening, transforming the space into an 8,626sqft B&M store.

Designed to offer customers a bright, modern, and easy shopping experience, B&M Acton features clear product displays alongside self-checkout tills, giving shoppers greater flexibility and convenience when completing their shop. The store also introduces an upgraded frozen food department, bringing even more choice to B&M’s grocery range.
