Opening the entrance door, I noticed 4 outsized ears and two white-spotted our bodies — twin fawns hidden by their mom within the raised mattress by the driveway. Framed towards shiny, blue ceramic balls, they made an irresistible photograph op.
I quietly staked out a spot on the far facet of the driveway so I wouldn’t frighten them off, sat down, and waited till they have been curious sufficient to lift their heads. Have a look at that candy little hoof propped on the wall!
The one on the left was bolder, elevating his head to stare at me whereas I took pictures. The opposite risked only one look my approach.
